Commercial Water Feature Repair in Oklahoma City, OK
"A Perfect Fit" plumbing and gas responded to a call of water pouring from the ceiling of one floor to another in a medical building. I discovered that the large water feature in a doctor's lobby had a compromised connection near 1 of 3 pumps that sends water to the top portion of the water feature. Upon inspection, APF found more than one connection that was improperly installed, and they weren't even installed by an Oklahoma state licensed plumbing contractor - the system was prefabbed by the engineer of the system. Even simple connections such as worm-type clamps have certain spacing, support, and torque ratios that must be within certain tolerances. I re-plumbed all connections serving the system and to my knowledge the system has preformed well to date. It just goes to show that even so-called simple connections are best left to the professionals, especially in situations where multi-storied buildings are concerned and damages can be extensive in a very short period of time
