Water Line Replacement in Oklahoma City, OK
This customer called about having issues with his hot water heating system. The hot water pipes that branched off from the water heater went underground for roughly 20' till it came out of the ground and then branched out to serve the various fixtures in the home. The 20' section that was underground was under 3" of concrete, 2 old wooden floors and 4' of dirt, all one on top of the other!
We cut off the water lines on both sides, hot and cold, before they went underground, and we re-routed the lines overhead through a very tight attic space to correct the problem. Our client also had more hot water everywhere throughout his 80 year old home because I increased the size of the water lines to and from the water heater.
